InspiriTec is proud to sponsor this year’s “Veterans on Broad Street” 2017 Job Fair. September 25th 9:00am to 2:30pm at The Union League of Philadelphia.
Veterans and their spouses will be welcomed to the Philadelphia Union League for workshops on resume writing, stations for job counseling and mentoring, as well as a photographer to provide professional head-shots. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided for all participants. Over 50 employers will be on hand providing job opportunities for veterans! Donated professional attire will be available for all job seekers.

A partnership between the Philadelphia Media Network-owned and operated Philly.com and employee research and consulting firm Workplace Dynamics, the annual “Top Workplaces” program includes some of the highest-performing and most recognizable organizations in the Philadelphia region in its final list of the best to work. InspiriTec was recognized in the midsize company category. Congratulations InspiriTec!
Congratulations to Laurence Howard, an InspiriTec CSR from our Newark office, on receiving the 2016 Employee Success Story award from ACCSES NJ. The award was presented on September 20th during the 6th Annual Products and Service Expo hosted by ACCSES NJ in Monroe Township, New Jersey. The event showcases the remarkable achievements of New Jersey citizens with disabilities working in community settings throughout the State. Laurence has been working at InspiriTec since 2011 as a member of our New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) contact center team. InspiriTec’s DCA Contact Center provides customer service delivery and work flow processes related to New Jersey’s Professional Licensing operation. The New Jersey Department of Consumers Affairs (DCA) supervises the activities of approximately 43 boards and committees, regulating more than 80 professions and occupations.

InspiriTec’s Newark office was honored as an “Employment Champion” for 2016 by the Essex County and Newark Workforce Development Boards’ Disability Issues Committee. This award recognizes InspiriTec’s efforts to provide employment and career advancement opportunities to people with disabilities living in the local community. A breakfast, sponsored by the Kessler Foundation, was held on June 16th to present the award to InspiriTec and three other recipients. InspiriTec’s Newark office provides customer service delivery and work flow processes related to New Jersey’s Professional Licensing operation under the Department of Consumer Affairs.

InspiriTec’s Nadine Schaeffer is this year’s winner of SourceAmerica’s President’s Award, which recognizes a non-AbilityOne Program employee with a significant disability who has exhibited outstanding leadership and exceptional character. Nadine is our Case Manager in the Wyomissing office where she provides supports to our colleagues working the Pennsylvania State Police and Department of Labor and Industry IT Help Desks. Congratulations to Nadine Schaeffer, InspiriTec’s Case Manager in our Wyomissing office, on being selected as the 2015 Nettie Mann Award Winner and Spokesperson. UniqueSource honored Nadine during its annual Nettie Mann Achievement Awards dinner in Hershey, Pennsylvania on June 16th. Nadine’s mother and InspiriTec colleagues were present to help celebrate Nadine’s accomplishments. The Nettie Mann Achievement Award program recognizes Pennsylvania workers with disabilities for the exceptional character they demonstrate in living and coping with disabilities, particularly in the work place. >> Watch Video
Jeffery Carver, InspiriTec’s DMDC Consolidated Contact Center Deputy Program Director, is SourceAmerica’s 2014 National Evelyne Villiness Award recipient. The Evelyne Villines Award recognizes an individual with a significant disability who has advanced from work on an AbilityOne® contract into private or government sector employment or management within the nonprofit agency. Jeff was presented with the award during SourceAmerica’s national conference in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. Congratulations to Jeff! In addition, InspiriTec was recognized during the conference for its efforts to employ disabled veterans by receiving the SourceAmerica 2014 Performance Excellence Award for Disabled Veterans hiring. InspiriTec CEO & President, John Connolly, accepted the award on behalf of all his InspiriTec colleagues.
Gail Kennedy, a Customer Service Representative from InspiriTec’s Philadelphia contact center, was recognized by UniqueSource during their annual Nettie Mann Achievement Awards Dinner, for not only her character, but also the personal fortitude, work ethic and abilities she exhibits while living and working with a disability.
