The Philadelphia Business Journal has named InspiriTec a “Best Places To Work” for 2018 in the Large company category (Philadelphia presence: 100 to 500 employees). This year’s competition saw a record number of applications for the recognition program, which is solely based on the results of an employee survey process conducted by Quantum Research company.

On June 18th, UniqueSource recognized InspiriTec’s Katie Schatz during its “Embrace the Abilities” dinner – an event which showcase the skills and talents that individuals with disabilities bring to the workplace each and every day. Katie received the UniqueSource Achievement Award, by distinguishing herself through the quality of her work and her commitment to professionalism in the workplace. The UniqueSource Achievement Award was originally established in 1976 as the Nettie Mann Achievement Award to recognize outstanding workers from around the state who demonstrate exceptional character in living and coping with disabilities, particularly in the workplace. Katie manages the Community Health Choices project for InspiriTec (Philadelphia) and assists in teaching new employees about the project, monitoring quality assurance, answering representatives’ questions, and assigning calls to the representatives. Congratulations to Katie!

On April 6th, InspiriTec’s CEO and Founder, John Connolly, spoke at a symposium titled: Social Responsibility and the Common Good: Business in the 21st Century. The event was hosted by Rosemont College’s Institute for Ethical Leadership and Social Responsibility. This symposium examined how new conceptions of business and social responsibility are transforming our understanding of the business and society relationship.

The Philadelphia Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) has selected InspiriTec to receive its Multi-Placement Employer award for 2017. OVR recognizes InspiriTec as the company with the most hires from its referrals and a Job Fair held this past May. CEO & President, John Connolly, accepted the award during OVRs first annual Employer Appreciation Banquet in honor of the 2017 National Disabilities Awareness Month. InspiriTec is proud of its decades-long partnership with OVR and looks forward to continuing to serve OVR clients through its affirmative employment of persons with disabilities in Help Desk and Contact Center jobs. Congratulations to InspiriTec’s Philadelphia team!!!

InspiriTec is proud to sponsor this year’s “Veterans on Broad Street” 2017 Job Fair. September 25th 9:00am to 2:30pm at The Union League of Philadelphia.

Veterans and their spouses will be welcomed to the Philadelphia Union League for workshops on resume writing, stations for job counseling and mentoring, as well as a photographer to provide professional head-shots. Lunch and light refreshments will be provided for all participants. Over 50 employers will be on hand providing job opportunities for veterans! Donated professional attire will be available for all job seekers.

Congratulations to Laurence Howard, an InspiriTec CSR from our Newark office, on receiving the 2016 Employee Success Story award from ACCSES NJ. The award was presented on September 20th during the 6th Annual Products and Service Expo hosted by ACCSES NJ in Monroe Township, New Jersey. The event showcases the remarkable achievements of New Jersey citizens with disabilities working in community settings throughout the State. Laurence has been working at InspiriTec since 2011 as a member of our New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs (DCA) contact center team. InspiriTec’s DCA Contact Center provides customer service delivery and work flow processes related to New Jersey’s Professional Licensing operation. The New Jersey Department of Consumers Affairs (DCA) supervises the activities of approximately 43 boards and committees, regulating more than 80 professions and occupations.
