After serving in the military in the 1980’s and suffering several different injuries, both of my legs had to be amputated in 2012 and 2013. After this, it was difficult for me to hold a job because I would need to miss work for periods of time to tend to my medical needs. I must have worked 12 different jobs, each one for only a couple months, until I started working at InspiriTec in January of 2014. Over the years, I’ve learned to accept my disability and make jokes about it whenever I can. If you can still laugh about yourself after experiencing pain and hardship, then I think you’re a success! I can’t change anything about my condition, but that doesn’t matter. Everyone at InspiriTec understands what others around them go through on a daily basis and makes sure that every person’s needs are met. I never have a bad day at work. We’re family.
